Homeboy needs to move. Yeah this seems like an extreme situation, but if he’s going to be continually butting heads with the HOA he’s just a crazy high-society version of the bag down the street with 4 non-running cars on the front lawn shitting up the neighborhood.
Like it or not, he now lives in one of those crazy gated communities. Either join them in their insanity or move somewhere that isn’t so cracked out.

It never looks like people actually live there. You can drive thru them, and all the houses have swimming pools but on a sunny Saturday afternoon, there will be NOONE by the pools.

^There is another house in the same hood that installed a very tall garage door for his RV or boat or w/e and they told him it was too tall.
To fix the problem he made “shutters” with siding on them to cover the top half of the door.
