Filed like jan 25th and my nys(not federal) tax return of 503.30 is being HELD, until further notice.
So… if NYS dosn’t get its money by 4/15 it penalizes us… but when we want our money its ok for them to hold it…
The state has until June to pay the refunds before they start accruing interest… Which is bullshit waiting that long to make a decision
I got about 1300 back which is within the ballpark of the amount I got back last year.
NYS return is FUKT
i got my NYS return last week.
e-filed on the 12th, got my fed return (which is quite nice due to getting married last year) on the 17th, and who the fuck knows when i will see my state return.

got shit back…a whole whopping $125 bux for federal and $9 for state, prolly doesnt help i only had a job “on the books” for 3 months and that was only on the weekends
