i actually owe this year… 766.00 bucks… damn changing my deductions, ill never do that again
Don’t change it too much. Just enough to get a refund of < $100. No sense giving the government an interest free loan just so you can get them to give you your money back once a year.
yeah… that was the plan but i was so used to having the extra money… ugh… well hopefully this 800 dollar break will go into effect lol
Urgh taxes, I owe every single year. I worked in 3 different states this year so that will be fun.
I’ll probably get like $200 back or so… I try and get it as close to $0 as possible.
heh… like every year, I don’t expect to get more than 200 back… and will probably owe state like 50-75 again
I’m getting $2,200 back, but I was expecting about $800 more. I hate taxes, next year will be different, I’m buying a house in March so that should allow a nice tax break next year.
I always get a decent chunk of change back plus since we give a decent amount in donations too.
Haven’t even started going through them yet.
Probably ~$3K give or take; gotta do mine once all the forms come in… damn companies wait till the 31st I swear…
I know it should be close as possible to $0; but I like the lump as a no-thought savings to pay a large chunk of my debt every year. I know I could make more if I put it in a savings and I may this year.
Haven’t done them yet, will be this evening or tomorrow likely.I should be getting around $1,000 or so back, maybe slightly more.
I get monthly performance bonuses, and the way those are taxed, it’s difficult to not get a decent return.
Haha, my company is always postmarked for the 31st. ALWAYS. They are available online sooner though thru ADP.
And I too like the lump-sum return. I know it’s interest free, but my will-power likely isn’t good enough to save that money well anyways.
EXACTLY my issue. I’m gonna try this year though once I get these taxes done. Go from Single 1 to single 2 for Fed and drop that $$ right into a savings account direct from my check so I don’t even see it; gotta leave the state at 0 though (I only get like $50 from them on S0)
still waiting i worked at 5 places this year so i still need 2 more w2 ill probably owe
I dont get it till the 31st.
I think $2200 back and I only worked 6 months, I don’t think it is right but we shall see.
i dont have my w2 yet so i have no idea… when are they due?
Per laws, your employer must have them mailed to you by January 31st. Most employers will wait until the very last day, heh.
