 to Mike Smith GMC/Buick/Pontiac

I bought my GTP from Mike Smith and had no problems with it. They gave a me a 1/2 a tank of gas and it was fully detailed. Sorry to hear about your problems but I don’t think thats how they usually operate. Very good sales guys and service, I would go there again to buy my next car (hopefully a GTO)

what are you going to school for? I hope its not finance…

lolol

college students with loans to pay makes my head hurt. i really dont get how u can expect to move out of ur house when ur stuck with a job that probably JUST barely pays ur loan payments and gas.

It just depends on what kind of job you get after college. I have student loans and car loans but I still manage to live on my own with money to have fun with, you just need to have better planning.

I have driven my Formula in Williamsville where I live for 4 years now…at all hours of the night on bald tires with dumped exhaust…never been pulled over…
so when are you going to remove your GTO sig?

In case anyone cares, the 8.1L is a 496.made them everyday for a year.
Does that allison tranny help Gas milage at all?I could kind of see him getting 24 mpg once he got up to speed and was just cruising.I had my friends Bonneville for the last few weeks and it repeatedly read over 40 mpg on the 990 heading to lkpt.I don’t mean for a few secs either.Talking like 5 miles at a time it was at 40+.Don’t know if it was just a freak car but damn that car got some killer gas milage. Was going to drive to Roch. and back for the hell of it just to see if I could hit/average 35 mpg for the trip.

hahaha, Ive already replaced it after 10k miles… it was over 5k miles so the dealership said they wouldnt warranty it…
WTF? I have 29K on my EVO and the clutch is just as good as day one. Learn how to fucking drive.

No one ask your opinion faggot so Shut the fuck up, I’m not running stock asshole nor do i plan on running the same setup in the future. Your the one saying
The evo is great on the track and I know if I do nothing i’ll love every second of it on the track this summer, but it’ll cost me 2-3k and that just blows (in 5 years of ownership I will have spent 50% of the purchase price of the car on fucking upkeep!!!)

Learn how to get your hands dirty on your car instead of just buying them and taking to the dealership to get everything done or just shut the fuck up about maintenance douchebag
What’s costing you so much to maintain the evo?

oil changes (3-4x), pads 2-3x yr and I’m not even tracking it often, rotors (that i’ve been putting off since the warped after my first event last season).
Yet you want something more expensive to maintain…This statement explains how much of a tool you are

ouch.

umm what? I don’t really care about the costs…i care about the costs in comparison to the value of the vehicle first of all. Secondly if I end up getting the 335, and this is the part you have to pay attention, it wont cost me a fucking cent in brakes, oil, or inspections for 50,000 miles So please explain to me how it’s going to cost me more to maintain over the next 2 years?

The fact that I don’t do perform regular maintenance service on my car does not for a second excuse the fact that you apparently suck at driving. Unless you were making north of 380 whp within 9,000 miles on the car, there’s no excuse for needing a new clutch. Fuck even cams + tune + pump should last 30k+

Note that I’m completely ignoring the fact I didn’t even factor in labor in my original figures fuck nut.

edit: OMG you only have an exhuast/pump/tune…are you joking me? I have well over 3 dozen drag launches, a couple auto-xs and 2 co-driven track days and it still performs just as well as it did brand new…Maybe instead of investing in a new turbo kit, you should invest in some driving lessons.

Take a look around the board, the number of EVOs who’s drivers don’t suck (ie didn’t need a new clutch sub 15,000 miles) compared to the number who do suck (ie YOU) and tell me if the “evo clutches are weak stock” is true or just an excuse made up by people who fall into the 2nd category

ahem, he also called you a faggot:gay3:

Why does this always happen?

Moved to OT.

I was making 350+ WHP with an evo 9 with less than 3k miles on the car and I dont care about your BMW free maintenance crap. Bottom line is I’m not going to listen to some one say I dont know how to drive when you dont even touch your car and have no idea what Ive got done to the car. I’ll work on my car till the day I die, fucking shit up even; but I wont listen to some douche bag criticize me that cant even change his own oil/ brakes

Joe the min i meet you I knew you thought you and your car were hot shit, when you realize your nothing more than a typical faggot then you can tell me I cant drive for shit.

I’m not investing in a turbo kit…where the fuck did that come from… check out EvoM and find out how many people have clutch problems with said mods… on an Evo 9 that is

Edit: how do u know you dont need a clutch…your not mechanically inclined so how the fuck would you even know if you had a problem
