thanks, at least my comedic genius didnt go completely unnoticed, haha
but yeah im not sure it was the car that kept getting him pulled over, i’m 21, had my GTO for a year now, in arrest-me red, live in amherst half the year, and never been pulled over. i speed profusely.
When I got my Lexus they didn’t clean the inside that well but I didn’t complain. They called me and asked how my experience was with the dealer and how clean the car was when i got it. I told them I wasn’t completely satisfied with how it was cleaned but it was no big deal. They sent someone out to pick up my car and give me a loaner. They then detailed the inside and out more than I could have ever hoped and brought it back with another full tank of gas. The moral of the story kids… don’t buy a GM lol.
First thing… at west herr toyota every car sold is givin a full tank of gas,no matter what it is!
It is FULLY detailed inside and out…
Now on to your purchase… there is a reason GM axed the 8.1 this year.
BS that truck does not get 24mph highway… my tundra gets 19 on the highway…my dads duramax with the allison tranny gets 22mpg alone on the highway…your truck would get i’d say…14 on the highway.
Don’t try and say any higher please.
And to buy a 3/4 ton pickup with no intent to work it? :bloated: :bloated:
my dad has an 05 duramax…he pulls a trailer 6 days a week…that is how the truck makes money. it’s worked for most of the miles.
I bought a tundra…I NEEDED a truck…for my dirtbike,snowmobile…and lawn business that I plan to start.
That truck is a nice truck don’t get me wrong…but for someone who doesnt need a truck…and…is still living paycheck to paycheck…DUMB desicion.
…you’re a dumbass for excepting it in the condition it was in, …

how has no one else caught this??? I have never been the grammar police before, but I feel like it can’t slide. Once we let one go, then it’s all downhill from there.

So, you negotiated on the monthly payments of the truck? No wonder the sales staff worked had for you, you’ve just been had. Hard.

:mamoru: I was waiting for someone to notice that his negotiation skills consisted of walking in and bending over. Just out of curiosity, how many years is the truck financed for?
I’m sure many other GTO owners can attest to not gettin pulled over randomly.

My GTO is fire engine red with chrome wheels, and I drive more “assholish” than I probably should. I live and work in Amherst (my office is less than a mile from APD headquarters), and do 95% of my driving there. I’ve had the car since Sept 06 as my daily driver and haven’t been pulled over yet (knock on wood). I did have an APD officer give me a long hard stare when I pulled up next to him on N.Forest, but then he smiled and gave me the car guy nod.
People do not get pulled over for “no reason”. It was what, 2 days after you got the car that you put illegal tints on it, only to get pulled over and ticketed the next day?
I have driven my Formula in Williamsville where I live for 4 years now…at all hours of the night on bald tires with dumped exhaust…never been pulled over…
no offense to GTO guys, they are very cool cars in their own right…but they dont look very flashy…more like a bad ass grand prix. what kind of attention were u getting for no reason? 50 year old guys nodding their heads at you?
thats pretty bad reasoning for getting rid of the car…id like to know the real reason.
