Tension Rod bushing

I having some difficulty removing the bolt the connects the t-rod to the t-rod bracket. I have tired using a breaker bar and air compessor but to no luck. So if anyone has any idea on how to remove this bolt please pass them on.

WD40 and soak it for a day, spray a few times.

Do you have the tension rod bracket and the tension rod off the car? If so just take the two part with the suck bolt the crappy tire and get them to press it out. If you are replacing the tension rod with aftermarket units and just need the bolt you could just burn the bushing out with a torch.

To take the bracket of which is what I am trying to do I have to remove two bolts that underneath the tension rod.

Press out a bolt???

There are 3 bolts, two that are machine pressed into the rod at one end (these bolts will not come out) and the and one through the bushing which is the one are you having a problem getting off the car? If its the one I think it is what I said before will work.

Are you trying to put in a Nismo power brace and not replacing the tension rods?

Im am trying to replace the tension rod brackets as both are damaged and the driverside tension rod since the bushing it ripped

Get a stong pipe ad use it as a snipe on a wrench or ratchet and go to town. Its has to come off whether it breaks or unscrews…Just put down the purse when your working on it.

liquid wrench it for 2 days, 3 times a day, make sure you corner hard, make sure the metal heats up

that method works for taking off dsm exhaust manifold-to-head bolts without breaking them

got the bolt out thanks for the help.
