I don’t follow. The Iraqi\ war had VERY little to do with the “Islamic Jihad” against western nations and was much more about toppling a dictator and yes WMDs (just because they weren’t there doesn’t mean that it wasn’t one of the reasons we went to war)
The Chechens are legitimate separatists and in fact parallels could most accurately be drawn to the Kurdish separatists in Turkey.
Russia was the original Islamic hater. Their army invaded Afghanistan when the locals wanted those “atheist communists” outa there. So the US gave Osama and his boys some help…
But back on topic, remember the Russian school massacre a few years ago? Or the hostages in that Moscow theater? Russia even had 40+ killed last year in a subway bombing. All have been admitted to have been carried out by Islamic radicals. There are a few Russian Republics who want to break free and establish Islamic governments, not just Chechnya. Russia doesn’t want mini Irans on its border.
No one knows at this point who’s responsible but these events in Russia usually have a “hey look at us!” reason behind them. Some group will step forward soon enough.
And for those paying attention, this happened in the ARRIVALS area… how long do you think it will be until the TSA starts screening people as they drive onto airport property… =;

With as much as our media loves to shift blame from where it’s deserved I’m really surprised Call of Duty isn’t in the news yet. Just did a news search for Call of Duty and Modern Warfare and no news networks that I saw are making the connection yet.

No but seriously… i laughed my ass off that entire mission and i look at this and feel bad for laughing now. Seems like we are all so desensitized by these games and such that we don’t recognise the real hazard. Its a shame this happened but i think this kinda crap is gonna be more and more common nowadays.
But on a side not Call of Duty didn’t get nothing for having that in their game but when San An had a sex scene everyone was flipping shit cause thats innapropriate for kids to be playing even though the game is rated 17 pluss… I blame the parents
