I really don’t know much about crash tests and what not, but I find it hard to believe that any car company has such a huge advantage over all others in this day and age.
the “moose” test:
wow, the “moose” test is just another term for testing the ESC. Super! I think every car company has been doing the same thing for 10+ years now.
I’m not gonna read some article from a SAAB dealer telling me why SAAB cars are the best. I’m sure if I read an article from a Kia dealer then they would make a good argument why they are the best and we all know how foolish that would be. Propaganda!!
im just saying as far as i know about manufactures and i think some people can vouch for me that Volvo are the safest cars on the planet
but its all opinion
but also if i have a head on with a suv with my saab 9-3 i will def walk away with a possible bruise
but thats just what i have been told/know
:stfu
99 9-3
99 Volvo 850/S70
99 camry
I randomly select the camry and it owned the saab!!! :stfu
I know your car along with volvos are extremely safe, but to say they are still the safest out there in todays market is a def stretch, imo
but can u say that they are safer then american cars?
who cares about american cars?? :lol
i know lol :crackup
it was just a question
Dont american cars spontaneously combust with no warning?
No, your thinking Italian cars
What’s an american car? Toyotas are american more than the new Malibu.
While the smart is a “cool” new product… There is an 11 month wait time right now and fyi it is rated at 41mpg
…mini cooper gets 40…
As far as being safe it has every possible engineering technology and electronic software to make it as safe as possible, but at the end of the day physics dont lie.
The transmission is a manual gearbox with an automated clutch similar to the technology of twin clutch transmission except you know having fast shifts and all.
The passion coupe is priced at 15 and change, and a cooper is 18 with 3 years of free maintenance… don’t forget great mpg vehicle such as the yaris and fit.
lol why would you ever buy a car like that for what reason if you are that cheap on gas and shit just go buy a diesel and convert over to bio seirously foolish investment and not to mention you def would die no matter what kinda steel cage it has and they take up like zero of the lane.
yeah, diesels def. will get better mileage.
i would also take a mini over a smart. the price of the smart is so close to the mini’s that to me, it doesn’t make sense to buy the smart.
I didn’t know Mini’s got 40 MPG
Same here, not that I’m in the market for such a vehicle, but as it is said, knowledge is power.
my dads TDI gets over 60 mpg… thats on summer fuel. now he averages around 55-57 on winter fuel… smart car HA!
Aren’t there new TDI’s supposed to be coming out?
Dont want to compare apples and oranges… the 07 standards rate the cars at 40 and 08 rates them at 37…
Every trip i have taken in one i have not averaged less than 40 (cruise control on, ac blasting at about 70mph)
