/testing water Fully built d series

pics or ban

ive seen a fully built d series with p30 pistons, custom rods, head work, a bisimoto header put down a lil over 160whp and run 11’s…oh yea it was in a 4 door

how do 81mm p30 pistons fit in a 75mm bore D series?

i didnt want to say anything but…lol

some people think nyspeeders are dumb…lol

he had them in there…i have him on myspace or something i dont remember but he barely had any cylinder wall i didnt think it would last but it did and ran pretty strong

Most of them are

81mm pistons in a 75mm bored (max with sleaves is 79mm) is not possible unless they had the pistons custom made in that size, even then for the amount of money spent there are much better pistons that bolt right in such as d16a1 pistons

Dont be stupid they probably just machined down the pistons to fit… :rimshot:

great thread here

It has been done in the past. I doubt any of you are old enough to have been on the old Endyn forums. It didn’t make 300whp, but it has been done.

Bisi use to hang out on the sohc forums before the monstrosity that is the dseries forums came about.
He ran a D series for a long time, and if memory serves, it was destroked to 1.4l, and had a pretty slick carb setup. Last I spoke with him, it was a F series with an adapter plate so he can continue using the D series trans.

i have seen p29’s in a D15he is on my myspace he is in Seattle Wa. there was like no cylinder wall at all on the black

here are P29s in a D15

note not much cylinder wall

the p29 pistons are pistons from the d16a1 i was talking about, and they are made for the d series bore, thats plenty of cylinder wall, if you had an 81mm piston they would be about touching each other

yea i kno what you were talking about saxon…i think hodge was thinking of that since i showed him that picture 1 night

IN for results.
