/testing water Fully built d series

so out of sheer boredom while i am in college i built a mini me swap d series this is being sold as if it were a crate motor the motor is running at 13:1cr and comes w. obd1 harness and properly tuned ecu stage 2 clutch motor and trans out of a del sol si make an offer i will be getting it dynoed this week for horsepower and torque numbers

specs? pics? price?

Sorry for the Shitty post im doing this all from my Fone cause i just moved and my house doesn’t have internet yet but we think its going to be running about 290-300hp to the wheels ill get pics up as soon as i have access to a computer and the price is all on reasonable offers

I will no for sure the hp and torque specs in i few days when i dyno it

brand and extent of the aftermarket internals are going to be the $$ maker here. you probably want to add them in as much detail as possible.

in for dyno printout

did i miss something? a 300whp all motor d series?!

ill trade him for my ls/vtec so that i can put it in my integra…

there are 10 second all motor dseries cars out there

Thats suprising, t-up to that though. Details on this build would be nice.

SCRATCH that there is NO D-series 275+ single cam NA cars putting down that much power…christ B-series can barley do it with out so many mods…H2Bs do it off displacment and Ks do it as well…Bs can get there HARD TO DO…D’s can not do it.

D-series.org is where i got all my information

poor source LOL

this motor won’t do it (NA mine-me) regaurdless of what modifications are done.

Bisimoto ran 10’s with their d15 and then 9.4 with their carb’d SOHC F22

1988 CRX Unibody, D15 full race:
10.77 @ 123mph

2006 Insight Unibody, F22A:
9.42, 150mph

its all speculation for me til i get it on the dyno i was jus guessing ill get all the internals up tomorrow when i drive back to west seneca from cleveland

yes bissi used a F22 that is not a D-series MOTOR yes its a single came but NOT a D-series

ill ask the bishi tech that is on there about the D-series b/c he has already said that it is BS that there is a 300+D out there… him running 10’s dosent show that he had 300NA

True… but a quick lookup in the chart shows that with 300hp vehicle weight would be around 1300 pounds including driver to hit 10.5

sure charts are not always accurate to tenths, but shit that’s about 600 pounds under what the car/driver probably actually weighed.

i dont see this motor breaking 200 whp

no way in hell this D has more than 160whp IMO and if it hits that then thats pretty damn respectable imo

good luck with the sale but…

300whp LMAO NO WAY, maybe 200chp

im building a high compression K and thats my goals (pretty extensive build)

seriously the highest whp 1.6L d i have seen put down high 180-190whp and it had custom built cams, header, race gas, pretty much one off everything

it wont…i have seen TONS of NA D’s that dont get to 200. if all you have is 13:1 pistons and rods you wont be anywhere near taht…you would need alot of head work and NASTY cam…

but if you have what you think is a 300NA D get it dyno’d and put up the dyno sheet

also bishis motor the D15 was a complete RACE motor 17:1 comp custom cams header head work beyond all head work by portflow

good info …
