I already go as low as I can, no girly fggt shallow squats here. Past horizontal. I’d have to change form to get lower I think. Maybe I should.

Just how low do you actually go? You don’t actually touch your ass to grass?

officially joined terrie’s last night. girl at the counter has HUGE boobs.

Prob 12-16" from the ground. But I am super manly

Score!

Cool. I’m already doing ATG squats. I guess I just have strong manly instincts.

Yeah its the guys that rack huge weight then come like 3’ from the ground that piss me off. lil girly men

I love feeling superior to guys like that. Too bad they’re always bigger than me. Oh well, if I’m ever going to make it in management I need to learn to feel superior without cause. :roflpicard:

Just go buy a BMW like I did and a shiny red sports car. I am superior. Im doing squats/legs tonight actually.

as for me… I’m still getting stronger very slowly… my core is getting better, but my bench has been going nowhere for a while.

change it up then… go to dumb bell presses… , lower the weight… increase the reps, OR take a large break from it… and go back to it again. gotta break the plateau some how

Nah he just has to scream more. I really do not bench that much but then again i have only been lifting again for like two months. I could prob do 335lbs at most right now :frowning: But srsly your bench whouldn’t go flat till over 300lbs and breaking plateau is not that hard at all.

i know plenty of people who have hit plateaus benching at 250-285. shit, i myself hit one at 300.

what ILC said is gread advice in my opinion.

If you plateau that soon they you just have a shitty program. A program that does not change every few weeks or at all will cause this and I consider that a shitty program. The one I follow changes completely each week on a three week loop then every 9 weeks is 100% diff for three weeks.

So I just got back from one of the craziest workouts of my life. I did bi/tri ion shock week style
Did this for bis once bi was 100% done then i did it all over again with tris. If you are not familiar a superset is two exercises done one after another NO rest between them. Then I was only taking about 10-15sec before I would start again. The planks were done after the 3x were complete.
2 supersets 8 reps each x3
I failure dropset failure x3

In between each superset while gasping for air I was doing the plank with a 45lbs weight on my back for one minute

Then I curled a 45lbs bar for 100 reps for some reason lol

I was soaked, thought I might cry, puke, die or something. AMAZING

How long are your workouts when you superset?

~30min Yesterday with various warmups and the planks and other random bs I did was about 80min total as i did bis and then tris. If I just go smash out a bodypart a nd leave on shock week though its about 20min.

what do you mean by “that soon”? if you started off benching 115, and plateau around 295, 3 years later; is that too soon?

some people just cant bench well. its impossible for strength to continue to increase. lifting is all about ebb and flow (llike virtually everything in life) its like brokers thinking the stock market will continue to rise, it just aint gunna happen.

This, using dumbells, and especially going heavy on the dumbells will help you bust through most any plateau. Also need to make sure your diet is in line and that you are taking in lots of protein. People dont realize that poor diet has a lot to do with hitting plateaus.

LOL sure you are right tons of full sized men have bodies not capable of lifting more then 300lbs Its prolly nothing to do with their diet, lifestyle, or dedication to lifting. I am sure changing routine, adding calories and such will do nothing for these people. Oh and yeah lifting is just like the stock market. Yep all adds up.
