I use controlled labs? or something green magnitude, love the stuff and the taste is a lot better than im used to with creatine
IDK its really hard to complain about creatine when you can get a 1000g thing of it for 20 bucks… :shrug:
it looks like its primary reason to take it is if you have issues already taking creatine… I personally don’t…

I will be getting it again. I can not say enough about Controlled Labs! When I was deployed I sent the owner an e-mail asking for a few samples of their product line since they have good reviews but did not want to buy 4-5 different products without trying them. A week later he sends me a 3 week supply of like 5 things and a few t-shirts for my fellow troops. I make a few nice posts on bb forums and take their products from there on out. About six months later I send him an e-mail saying I would like to give out some of their samples and such to the gus at the gym. So he sends me no joke probably close to a grand worth of product and a box of 20 t-shirts and a note about he will do anything to support overseas troops. It lasted me like 6 months and I gave the shit out like crazy.

at the very least anyone should be doing this. Just remember, whey protein is not the answer by itself. If you have a fast metabolism its great pre workout and post. I personally prefer the longer metabolizing proteins. for times other than pre and post workouts.
ive taken kre-alkalyn and green mag and had better results with the sci-fit stuff.
cant go wrong with either.

ive taken a buncha sci-fit stuff now that i think about it. i love their protein powders, SER-5, various vitamins and stuff, and their kre-alkalyn. id say whichever you get a better deal on go with.
after a few lower body workouts, ive discovered my theoretical max squat is somewhere near 350, about 100lbs lower than id like it to be. anyone got any suggestions for picking that up a good chunk?

but seriously when you go crazy with weight on squats make sure you have a belt, and use nothing but perfect form…

i wear a belt above ~80% of max, and im pretty goddamn obsessive bout my form. its just kinda annoying i can deadlift 150lbs more than i can squat.
Finally broke the 300 lb barrier with a 315 lb deadlift last night.

Oh, and this is probably one of those “don’t ask nyspeed, go see a doctor” types of things but I’m going to throw it out there anyway:
I’ve got a bad right knee. Soccer injuries, missing cartilege, blah blah blah.
I started doing squats again a few weeks ago after pretty much giving up on doing heavy (relatively speaking) weight since high school. I figured out that if I keep my knees in (as opposed to spread eagle) a touch it doesn’t hurt. So I’ve been doing 5 x 5 @ 185. Well since then my left (good) leg has been hurting. If I squat down to work on or look at something, when I stand up the left side of my shin hurts like a motherfucker for a few seconds. Kind of by my calf. Pain starts a little below the knee and goes down to my ankle, on the left side of my left leg.
Is there a tendon there or something that I could be fucking with? Is there a good way to stretch that part of my leg?
I’m thinking my form might be goofy so I’m going to back off down to 135 for a while to make sure that my form is good and I’m not compensating for my bad leg or something like that.
When you are doing squats do some with just the bar and imagine you are spreading the floor apart with your feet. This will help keep your knees in the correct and stable position. Get used to it then add weight.

BTW I was doing 345? I think and ripped my hands open then still went to 385lbs.

I also have a bad knee from high school and college football/lacrosse. I like to do some squatting still but I generally stick to box squats cause normal squats kill my knees
I have been crazy sick and haven’t been able to lift for a week… Suffering from withdrawal.
Congrats… I did 330 last night and can’t move now… that was the most I’ve done so far… did it 4x.

Just hit the gym yesterday for the first time in about 3 months. Did my back, my traps feel like they are on fire today, i havent lost as much size as i thought i would, but i am deffinitly weaker. Doin chest today, that should sting a little.
anybody ever hear of or take Haladrol… i tried to look it up but couldnt find anything… any known side effects or anything… let me know
it seems to a be a prohormonal supplement of some kind. I think they make liquid gels of it now that are supposed to be all natural. I know the old halodrol had an anabolic agent in it that got it taken off the shelves. When it comes to prohormones i mostly only know about and take epistane. Well i take rpn havoc, but havoc is a form of epistane.
