I’m not really looking to lose weight, I’m 5’11" and ~173lbs. I play hockey 2-3x per week and cycle frequently in the summer, I don’t do cardio when I work out but I’m pretty active.
Meant to say hemp protein, as I am lactose intolerant and whey upsets my stomach
However I did seem to have a bit more energy and see better results when working out and having a shake an hour before and within an hour after working out
I wanted to be all high and mighty about why hemp is bad, but all that I could find is that it’s actually a pretty solid choice as far as protein supplements go. Much better than whey or soy.
Well I just had my one Moe’s meal for the month, Holy fuck that queso is out of this world, according to their nutritional calculator it was 1400 calories and 65g of fat, and theres no option for adding “extra everything”
LOL whole meal, but the queso is probably half XD, I used to have that lunch 4x a week, now its once a month, UGH SO GOOD, like everything full of fat
I see that it works for you but pre-work out gives me temporary Parkinsons with no positive effects (yes I’ve tried more than one kind, 3 powder, 2 diff pills, all I do is shake)[COLOR=“Silver”]

I would consider posting before and after photos but I don’t think that would be a wise decision on here lol

I’m going to download and follow this when I get home, nice link. 12 - weeks is not that long, and I coincidently have a vacation planned to Miami in March, if I like what I see after three weeks, I’ll keep going.
very good program. it’s also pretty awesome that he’s “there with you” during the whole thing and you can see real results on him, and yourself.
The only difference is that he has a ton of muscle underneath his fat when he tried to just get bigger/fat before starting the program
Supplements are mostly a waste… Gallon Of (whole) Milk A Day will do 10x more for you than any supplement…6 weeks of a 20 rep squat routine followed by the 5-3-1 program begins jan 1st. Need time to get my lifts back to where they were this time last year… I’ve tried supplements in the past, put on mad weight quick but it fell off as soon as I stopped taking it. With GOMAD I can put on 20lbs in 6 weeks and it stays.
Well spent the last couple hours reading and watching his videos and I have some concerns:
After doing this 12 week program, do you keep following it or taper off? Does your body just start to turn to shit when its over?
I am super uncomfortable with some of these pills he’s asking people to take, such as dialators for your circulatory system. I’m on several prescriptions for asthma and other breathing issues I’m not sure if they would have any effects with this. Do you guys follow his supplements to a T?
Do you guys really not use milk at all (not even skim)?? A protein shake made with water? Fucking disgusting, the rest I can handle.
For your diets do you just use a fist as a measuring device for everything? So basically cut up all of your meats, fish, etc and it’s about a cup? Such as a cup of oatmeal + cup of eggwhites is your breakfast? Also do you guys cook all of your food in one day? I can’t imagine cooking fish and letting it sit for days, GROSS.
Hack Squats make me throw up =)
Did you guys quit drinking? I’m not an alcoholic, but if I go out and meet someone and order some martinis or something (like two max through the night) is that really going to throw me off?
I’m breaking this diet on Xmas.
How do you guys feel? Crappy? Exhausted? Really good? Young again?
Do you guys use George Foreman’s to cook everything?
Any info would be nice, considering I’m not starting this tomorrow, I will have to do some shopping.
I followed the workout as best as I could with my gym not having certain equipment. When I started I barely could do 5 hack swats. I don’t take any of the supplements. My buddy takes them all. I still have milk. I limit myself to one day of alcohol. Usually on a rest day.
Wait one last question!! what about portion sizes? How do you judge the right amount, or just go by fist rule? I feel like i could just have chicken everyday instead of fish also…
I was sent that same routine by a guy on here…Don’t think he posts at all. Anyway, seems like you pay a small fortune in just supplements, and basically eating the same shit every day.
FWIW, I’ve been making meals like a couple have mentioned.
I make a huge container of rice and beans, one of chicken, one of pasta, and another of some salmon melt thing, every four days or so.
Then each day I’ll pack around three small (18oz?) plastic containers for small meals every three hours to get me through work and school.
I feel great, am getting a well balanced diet, and my metabolism is awesome.
And agreed with Fry on overtraining.
Fry, are you still following the paleo diet?
