that was the 65 part
gears would kill my motor LOL i only can rev it to 4500-5000rpms. i’d be over revving with 3.70s. there is no gear ratio between 3.27 which i have now and 3.70’s.
but i got a 4th gen 3.42 rear end sittin in the garage ready to go in. just gotta figure out when i’m gonna do it. i wanna squeeze some better times out of the old car before i do that.
you wont over rev it, the tranny will shift for you like it does now. the car will just pick up quicker. 3:73’s is fine for my daily camaro i drive.

damn dude, it looks like you might have a 2-3 flare. when we had R,Micheals car up and running we broke hardened drums, hardened planets all the time and even twisted a hardened vasco imput shaft, we came to find when the tranny was put on a “tranny dyno” at dynamic, it had a 2-3 gear flare that we couldn’t really notice under full throttle because the car was so violent, but after dealing with dynamic we really found that they (dynamic) were the problem…
