That’s all for now. Cell phone pics.

Nice, Wonger with the hookups.

You’re going to want at least one more bottle of Motul. Probably 2 for the flush and a backup.

Yea, he forgot to send the 2nd bottle which is on it’s way naow. Gonna get another one if I can find locally.

Don’t listen to this man, almost made me buy another can of brake fluid and I used MAYBE 2/3 of the first one.

Good idea to have a backup, but you only need one for a good flush.

I believe that Synapse carries Motul

true story, one bottle for full flush (assuming you get 75% out of the resevoir first) and then one for backup at the track.

ready to drop this bish off Weds?

Motul containers are substantially smaller than ATE.

Edit: And you prob didnt flush everything with only 1/3.

Si Senor. I gotta be at my house for a couple hours though so I can get the security system hooked up.

Well, just made a big purchase for the car. Cylinder two’s ringlands were destroyed at LRP. Adam check the compression on all cylinders and #2 was down around 50%. after testing the coolant system to see if it holds pressure, which it did, I started looking for a new short block for the car, since there isn’t enough time to rebuild this one. Luckily for me, there was an in-stock, on sale Cosworth short block from Rallysportdirect.com. It include the billet crank, rods, pistons, bearings, etc almost 100% ready to drop in minus oil and water pump, oil pan and other small stuff I still have. This bottom end was designed to rev to over 10,000 rpm (which it won’t see anyways) and should suit the car nicely. If only I had a head to match and a dog box tranny…

Fixed

Seriously though, solid work. :thumbup

So you doing the heads also?

Just build a full Cosworth if you’re going to do it. Heads and all…

I was looking at the VQ35 Cosworth long block and heads, definitely nice stuff.

Check these guys out too, they have a lot of nice Subaru stuff.
