I need to try Elmos still. Is it just the Cajun wings that are good or overall all their wings?
911 wings are probably what it taste to eat unicorns if they were real. Although the place itself is a dive bar, and every person in there ordered wings so sometimes it’s an hour wait to get the table and an additional hour for the wings but depends on the day. Earlier is better.
I have lived in Eden for over 10 years and only have ventured to Schunks once. The food was FANTASTIC!!! I had a chicken sandwich that must have been fed nothing but HGH as it was bigger than the plate it was on. Super good food. Just a heads up-cash only.
Elmos has gone to shit in my opinion. Anytime I go there for lunch, the wait takes forever to get food or even a waitress sometimes. The last few times they took forever and came out cold. I stopped going.
Lennox as $0.64 wings and aren’t bad for the price. I gotta go into Dooleys/Elmwood grill and check out that cheap special and see how they are next I think.
I wasn’t expecting much, but I got the single order (10) and was actually really impressed. Good size wings, cajun seasoning is spot on and then the hot sauce over that made it excellent.
So I went to Elmos today. I got Cajun double dip (second dip would be medium). Overall they were decent, I might just not have the tastebuds for cajun, like I know Cajun is a mixture of spices but I can’t really tell what it is when I eat it. Like it just tastes different to me, my eye burned for a minute just from the aroma, but my mouth wasn’t like super hot, the medium seemed like a decent medium I can feel it on my lips slightly . I ate inside, and the wait wasn’t bad, the wings were fairly crispy not under done.
My buddy got BBQ wings and I thought they tasted better to me, although he thinks imperial has better BBQ, I was happy with Elmos BBQ.
I’m more of a medium sauce type of person, so for me 911 is still unicorn meat to me.
