i feel your pain i’m just almost thru week 2 of this myself i almost never get sick but this thing has kicked my ass. it seem like every day it was a different thing. the only thing i have not had was vomiting but the first week i didn’t eat much.
ya i had it almost 2 years ago and im 1 of those people that will work and go to school with body aches…i didnt get out of bed for 5 days and i thought my throat was gonna swell shut.i ended up looseing almost 20 pounds in 6 days…i will admit it was a little scary.
fuck the flu! my family had it about 3 weeks ago… thankfully i was on antibodic right after surgery so I didnt get sick from them.
that sounds like mono
ya thats wat i thought but they tested for it and it came back a negative.Im not a huge fan of needles to begin with and to have someone poke u when u ache so bad isnt very pleasent.i had so many tests run on me that week i guess they just gave up and said that i had the flu.
I had mono in high school, I was over it in 4 days. I got a call from the doctor saying I had mono and he wants me to come in, I told him I was over it already. Kick ass immune system FTW.
I got a flu shot for the first time this year because of my kids, I didn’t want them to get something from me.
A few guys at work described the exact same thing Starboy did, it doesn’t sound like a good time.
I’d heard that mono lasts a lot longer than the flu, but doesn’t make you nearly as sick. I do know that my wife is still sick as fuck. She is flat out fucked up. My doctor’s got me taking TamiFlu to try to keep me from getting it from her.

LOL…if anything, the anti-biotic made you more likely to get it (if it was really influenza).
I’m on about my 3rd head cold this season, it’s certainly been a fucked up winter
I had mono twice. Instead of running it’s course and going away, it reactivated; so I had it again a second time. I don’t recall being terribly sick. Mainly just swollen glands and constantly exhausted…For months.
