I have A AMAZON KINDLE FIRE and A GOOGLE NEXUS 7

Not an iPad

My Desktop is a custom built PC running windows

My Laptop is a Macbook

I run what works best for me in every situation…

Mentioned it before I have had multiple Android phones for work phones and every single one sucked maybe the S3 that just came out is great? I have also had iPhones since the original and never had issues.

Android had a lot of growing to do to become a main stream stable phone OS with 4.1 it finally got there.

I realize in the past 6 months Android phones started not sucking as bad but its been years. The iPhone has been out performing everything else for the last 4-5 years.

It’s the same thing with my Macbook air nobody makes a better ultrabook right now maybe in 6 month?

Still hate every Android phone I have ever had because of random crashes/freezes/etc maybe Windows phones will be better?

As far as calling/texting/emailing I haven’t found a better performing phone(size/weight/performance)

I assume NFC would be part of the google passport thing? Technology really isn’t in play everywhere figured apple would be ahead of the curve with it.

This is why I have no interest in switching phones. I’ve never had a real problem with my phone. No crashing. No freezing. No randomly shutting itself off. I can’t tell you how often my friends with droid phones complain about things like that. I’m not committed to Apple, I’m just interested in having a phone that doesn’t piss me off when I want to use it with ease.

With that said, I’ll be pre-ordering the 5. When a windows phone makes a big splash I’ll give it a serious consideration, but reliability is key for this consumer.

BTW I have used Google Wallet and NFC Task Launcher to launch Tasker. So I have played around with this quite a bit. I am running a Galaxy Nexus. If anyone has proof of being able to access it when screen is off please let me know. I am more than interested.

it can and has been done but you have to be rooted and install something for it to work I believe, somneone over at XDA did it

I’d like to see the causes of the malware though. I’m also running the Sophos mobile protection on mine.

I bet 95% of that is like weird ass foreign apps that just require stupid amounts of permissions. If so, that’s just like the argument that Macs don’t get viruses.

IDK read all the previous posts about stuff that was left out? I guess I expect bigger and better things in these “big” releases. At least Siri was a fun gimmick…
