Hey, do you know if there is a piece of software that will let you run 2 processes simultaneously? You used (on 1.1.4) to be able to run, say a NES emulator AND the ipod/streaming radio without any problems (jailbroken phone). Now it’s one or the other… it’s kind of annoying
I don’t get what you mean. I don’t think its the application you run on top of music. It must be trying to take over the audio stream by playing sounds. Try to turn the sound off on the application.
I play stuff with music on all the time.

last time I synced my phone (no backup, no music) it took just over an hour :tdown:

On Vista and XP it syncs slow. Syncing 2000 songs, 100 photos, 5 ring tones, and contacts typically takes about 2 hours from empty.
Anyone use WiFi? It seems like WiFi destroys my battery more than 3G? I just keep it on edge all day and it goes pretty good.
Also, this firmware has been in beta testing since like mid july so hopefully they got it right this time.

have around 20 or so apps and other than that, nothing else for the most part.
music syncs pretty quick, as do contacts and shit but when it gets to syncing the apps it takes forever

if you want good battery life turn off push. If i disable push I get 3 days out of the phone with regular use of txt, phone and web all on 3g
Ya as soon as I added my email accounts and PUSH accounts, it went to hell. I would be interested to see what the newest firmware will fix battery wise.
Holy fuck. Is anyone using iTunes 8? Its slow as hell. I have a brand new install of Vista 64bit with 4GB of RAM and it chokes a lot more than the previous version.
It seemed to speed up a bit. The genius tool is really cool tho. Made a few playlists and its pretty sweet. I wish tho I could make and save playlists on the iPhone itself and not have to do them through iTunes
