CNN has an article about it likely being a hoax. It can be bent by hand, as people have shown in videos, but they are CRANKING on it. CNN was not even able to bend theirs during testing by using brute force. If you can’t bend it using your hands, I doubt it will bend sitting in your pocket.
To further make this sound like a hoax, the same thing was said about the 5s, which turned out to be fake.
iPhone Camera has always been great. As an Android fanboy, it’s one thing I give apple full marks for. It’s also a staple function of the smartphone. I mean we’ve almost phased out point and shoots and we’re just about at entry DSLR range in phones now.
One thing I want to see, if anyone can do it, is concert footage. How well does it record sound especially in a loud environment like a show. My MotoX does surprisingly well with concert sound, it actually sounds pretty awesome.
The camera on the 6 is amazing. We were doing pano pics at the bills game and even getting bumped into mid picture the photo is stable as hell. i wanna take some videos of my golf swing today at 240 fps
Anyone understand the SloMo video sharing? I have some videos that are amazing in the 240fps. I sent them in a text and it plays in my message full speed but people saying they come through to another iPhone 6 with slowmo. I uploaded to FB and it plays in the app full speed so trying to figure out if this is an iOS thing.
You have to use the upload linked apps from the photo viewer. So Facebook, YouTube etc. Then iOS will convert them so what ever sections you’ve selected to play in slow motion via the sliders at the top of the iOS player will play in slow motion on the exported video.
Damn, Instagram isn’t integrated there. That’s frustrating. Also, when you upload to facebook that way you don’t get 100% functionality and it goes to “iOS uploads” album.
I hope this is going to be improved as they really work on this feature. I wouldn’t be suprised to see the following of the app store devs start to build apps.
slomo has been around since iphone 5s and ios7 and I don’t think many improvements in the portability of the slomo videos have been made since then, so I’m not sure that I forsee that changing.
