THE **iPhone** Thread (GPS, JailBreak, Apps, Etc)

Can always toss on YouTube. The quality will be better anyway.

Might be ok with skinny jeans…just don’t get an erection.

100lbs of force?! Jesus how tight are those pants.

I think a better video would have been showing how much force gets applied in a normal pocket and then translating it to the phone. I still think these “bent phones” are people leaving it in the back and sitting on them.

This just smells like the antennagate thing when you can kill the phones signal by holding it a goofy way that most people didn’t do.

But my constant erections might still be a problem.

Either way I’d have a case so maybe that will prevent the bend as well. Seems strong though

ever since i got my 6 plus i have had a constant erection

Only if they last longer than 4 hours.

I’ve been getting a lot of app crashes and bugs, even with native apps. In the messaging app the messages wouldn’t come out of landscape, but my keyboard was in portrait mode and covering half of the messages. WTF. I had to reset it to get it back to normal.

Overall, I’m not at all happy with ios 8.

The added features are nice, but the functionality has gone completely downhill.

What functionality has been lost?

Little hesitant to install 8.0.2 after the whole 8.0.1 fiasco. Still sitting here on 8.0 and it seems stable. Then again I’m coming from Android 4.4.2 on an S3 so Gary Busey on spring break would seem stable to me.

I have 2 devices on 8.0.2; no issues at all.

iOS 8.0.2 patch applied, hope this fixes some of my issues. Battery life was sucking balls. Slow performance, odd keyboard glitches, app crashes etc… Probably the worst “upgrade” I’ve done since forever. Crossing my fingers, I’d rather not end up in an Android.

Honestly, iOS8 has been SHIT. Lots of glitches, display issues with the status bar, app crashes, and just random annoyances. Very unlike Apple.

So short term review, how is the 6 plus, in regards to its size, typing, pocket, holding on to it, etc.?

Apple needs Steve Jobs back, iClone his DNA.

I love the phone. I have big hands and am a big guy so skinny jeans are not something I wear. I took a bit to get used to it but now I have it, I see a 5 and don’t know how I ever used a phone that small.

One handed texting is slower but once you get used to holding it and using the double tap to bring icons down, it isn’t bad. I think the bending rumors are a bit overhyped. Just don’t be an idiot and sit on your phone.

For browsing, videos, and doing some of the work I do on my phone which is why I bought the bigger phone, it removed the need for me to carry my Nexus 7 around. I now am pure iPhone and then MacBook when I go to sites and need to be functional and mobile.

^ Basically +1 to all of this, except I don’t have a Nexus 7.

The phone doesn’t even seem that huge now to be honest. I was worried I’d hate the bigger size but took a chance since the regular 6 was the same size as the S3 I was replacing and I wanted something bigger.

This does bring up a good point. They need to slow down the data on unlimited due to network congestion after 5GB but they can give other people 20+GB of data without any issues.

Wanna get rid of that Nexus 7? @boxxa
