So after trying to install a theme from Cydia for different colored media player, it rebooted my phone and now my phone will not turn on past the Apple logo. It just freezes at it and shows a loading circle overlapping the Apple logo

Yeah I know lol, do you think it was because of the content I was trying to install or because it was jailbroken? I’d like to re-jailbreak it again, I just won’t be adding themes anytime soon lol
Probably the theme you were trying to install. Hold the power and home key a few times and keep rebooting it and let it sit for 5-10 min and it may come back. Mine did this too when I was playing around with some system processes.
iPhone hijack coming Thursday?
Its been patched in 3.0.1 and only the guys that found out it know how to do it. Its a sequence of 512 text messages that need to be aimed specifically at the target iPhone too. Not just a massive virus out there.
honestly all you need is the FAN number applied to your account and poof. it wont be on verizon at least not for the 3G.

Ya foundation account number. Its the number assigned to businesses and schools that have accounts with ATT. I got the NYS Employee one so since they have a lot of people with ATT, the discount is higher. If not, all you need to do after you sign up is call and have them apply one. Just say you are a NYS contractor or something. When I joined ATT last year, the guy at the store just added it for me.

I originally was going to get 20% off through UB. All you needed to do is have them confirm your email. I asked about my wifes employer, Roswell Park and they get 24% off. When we went to transfer over to ATT, they just needed a proof of employment like her picture id badge.
But in past history with Sprint, all you really need to do is ask and a lot of times they would just give the discount.
Ya it all depends on who you get when you sign up. The guy when I signed up just added it without me asking.
didn’t work…they shafted me and said that corporate is really “tightening down on discounts” i did find out that what i get a whopping 8% off my bill cuz of my work :rolljerk:

Its been entertaining all last night and today.
I got YourTube installed so you can download and play downloaded videos right from the YouTube app. Also got QuickBoard and QuickSMS but disapointed that QuickSMS doesnt let me just type in the SMS box and has to load its own SMS type application… Working on that aspects.
I found a new GPS app, its called MobileNavigator I didnt download it or anything but it looks different from mobile maps
I used the updated mobile maps on an 800+ mile roadtrip over vacation and I’m VERY impressed with it. The ability to browse the map and select any point as a destination is a feature all GPS units need to have.
Still has the occasional odd routing issue though. At one point going through Rome NY it wanted me to turn left at an intersection then make a u-turn instead of just turning right. Not sure WTF it was thinking there but I could see where it wanted me to go so I just went right.

iv used both. but mobile navigator seemed a little more laggy for me
