Ever since I did the new OS update my phone has crashed once a day. It was fine before that.
Update via Itunes now the carrier settings are up

I am bringing it into Apple this weekend and seeing if they would swap it out. It just goes black once a day and need to reboot it to work.
Its a big bug.You need to eject your phone from iTunes to get the screen to come back on.

Yes. do the update again after being on 3.1 and it will install a carrier file. once its done, eject your phone and reboot your phone.

They say that u have to have 3.1 but im on 3.0. I did the mms hack that was on Youtube and my phone is running fine
Thats what I am thinking about doing. 3.1 sucks and redsn0w isnt available to jailbreak it.
Just might go back to 3.0 and install the carrier settings.
I just did the update, to 3.1. for the iphone3G. I have no such icons/options like this after the update. It’s just like it was with 3.0. No fucking change at all. In settings>general>about, the version reads : 3.1 (7C144). Nothing on the phone has changed with the update for me. Any thoughts? Phone is legit, from ATT, not jailbroken, bought from Apple.
make sure you are on carrier at&t 5.5 and if you are just reboot the phone
