No the AIM app uses data. Download BeeJive tho. A lot better.

3.1.2 came out today…

Ya I updated ASAP. 3.1 was super buggy and kept crashing. I am still having issues and thinking about bringing it into Apple to see if they can swap it out.
When I had 3.0 and winter board and a bunch of other MobileSubstrate hooks running, it still ran faster than this 3.1.2 POS.

Side not: There is a ton of 99 cent games that are sweet. Anyone have Tap Tap Revenge 2 or Cocoto Kart Online and wanna play? I have been racing people online over 3G in Cocoto kart all day. Haha
Hmm. I have the minimum talk minutes. 200 texts per month. And a 14% discount through work. My bill was $98? They told me it would be around $80. Guess I’ll have to look it over when I get home.
First month is always higher becuase you pay for the prorated month you are in and then the next month in full.
I moved to the 450 min plan, unlimited texts, and 20% discount and my bill is $70

Storage aside, is speed the only difference between the $99 dollar iPhone 3G and the $199 iPhone 3GS? She’s not exactly a phone geek so is it a waste of money to get the newer one?

Ya get the 3G. Its perfectly fine for a normal user with web browsing. You can notice the difference between the 3G and 3GS with speed to load apps and web browsing in some areas tho.
Get the 3GS. When I upgraded from my 3G, the difference was like night and day. Everything is faster.
