Its gone and I have proof. Joel came over and helped me. I took jenn’s Trunk release and when Pewter gets a chance to pull the other one I will put it back into her car. I had to get all this stuff done because I have to take the car to get inspected, then to get a recal fixed (First one something about an ignition relay) then drop it back down at the body shop to have the roof sanded, hood chips fixed and the front bumper repained due to bottoming out and srapping undernieth…

I also installed the Toyota tails today and wired them so they work properly. The American J-bodies use a single Brake/Turn signal light. The Toyotal Tails use a seperate yellow turn signal and a seperate Brake light so I had to do some wiring. They work and look so much better.

OT? What fire station in Penn Hills do you volunteer at?

They come from a Toyota Cavalier. (if memory serves me, the japanese version of the cavalier)

He volunteers in Monroeville.

Toyota Tails Come of the Toyota Cavalier. The Cavalier was marketed in Japan under the Toyota brand. They had some things like the trunk lid liner I have and some other things.

As for FD in Penn Hills, I don’t belong to Penn Hills. I belong to one in Monroeville. Prior to meeting my wife I was a live in Fire fighter for 2 years. I also held a leiutenant Position and the VP spot.

Maybe that explains why I once saw someone with a big TRD sticker on the back of their cavalier. I thought they were just a ricer, I didn’t know they were trying to be JDM.

I used to know some people at #7 and Bessemer, that’s why I asked.

I know a couple people from each of the penn hills stations from either working with them, training with them, or going to HS with them but not everyone…

Also I think there are only two people I know of that have successfully gotten parts or had a car make it all the way over here and its right hand drive. One was this guy who’s Screen name on J-body was “Blue” and he I think has his completed. Another Guy Chris (can’t remember his last name) got a car halves over here to transplant but sold off his cavalier and started a new project. The CHis guy had a green Cavalier that I’m sure some of you have seen if you were at Hot Import Daze two years ago.

There is one other guy but I don;t think he wil ever get his car back together. Brad knows who I am talking about (Joker).

Stroker, doe sthat realy get put in under the hood only? If they have to go into the dash I;m not letting them do it. They break shit every fucking time the car goes in. I’d reather get the part and put it in my self if they have to go anywhere near the interior…

i had the same thing done to my car at Cochrain (SP?) and it took them about an hour tops. So i dont think they go into the dash at all.
