Still too small, and still made by Apple = not me.
That’s the bottom line right there…

Only reason I won’t buy :
Fuck, Itunes.
Whats this gapless playback they speak of?
I-tunes pretty much blows. I hate it.
You don’t need to use itunes you can run other os’s(not sure if that is the right term) on the ipod and just drag and drop. The other os’s are faster and offer more control over audio output settings too.
its so u can mix songs and have 0 gap between them.
also no Flac no care.
you also drive a buick. :spam:
me too.
well i never really hated them, i just never owned one and now i want one real bad.
People actually use iTunes that own an iPod?
Winamp.
so when will this be up? if its 249, the student discount must take a few bucks off of that
damn, I was about to buy a used shuffle or nano. fuck that, now I’m gonna buy a 30 gig for $~235 (hopefully)!!!
My work, UBMicro will be selling the new iPods.
We also marked down the prices of the previous models. So if the new colors don’t mean anything to you, time to save a few bucks.
From the email my manager sent me, these are the new prices:
1GB Nano - $119
2GB Nano - $149
4GB Nano - $199
30GB Video - $249
60GB Video - $299
iPod U2 Video - $279

We have them all in stock I believe. PM me if interested or stop at UBMicro and ask for Joe.

As for the new models, we ordered them, but probably won’t be in for 2-3 weeks based on Apple’s crappy shipping estimates.
FTW!
I personally think that the iRiver would kick the crap out of the Nano. Games, music, movies, pictures, & storage.
^ except it’s half the storage and the same price
True, but give it the same capacity and > iPod
Who the hell really needs an 80GB iPod. Sure it’s cool for videos, but do you have that many. And I’d rather watch them on my 46" DLP thank you.
I would use alot of the storage to do just that, Store documents or “backups” of DVDs. A lot of people forget that you can use the Ipod as a HD as well as a media player.
I know plenty of people who are lusting after it now, the boyfriend included. He travels a lot, owns a lot of DVDs, and has more music than any person could ever need. This will be great for him.
me. i already have over 50 GB of music that i listen to regularly and enjoy.
