i mean its a nice car , but calling it an nsx is just wrong
what else would you like them to call it? its the top of the line honda… if they named it something else it would outrank the old nsx’s
good, but tis not mid engined its just not an nsx
dont care if its top of the line its not an nsx for sure
thats liek dodge saying ok heres the new viper… its a modified dodge neon
I completely agree.
I’m actually a HUGE fan of the NSX, I think it would be safe to say that I’m one of the handful of lucky shift518 members to have ever sat in one, let alone go for a ride in one on a backroad driven by a Skip Barber trained Northeast divisional spec Miata winner at Lime Rock Park. This guy knows the ins and outs of his NSX and brought me an inch away from shitting my pants when he gave me a ride :lol . I’ll also be driving it by the end of the summer ;D
And like someone else said, the GTR came out 1-2 years before the NSX, the NSX SHOULD beat it, then the Spec V will beat the base NSX, then the NSX-R will probably beat the Spec V, then the Nismo will shit on people, and who knows with Mugen. As far as I know a NSX-R or Mugen NSX hasn’t even been confirmed yet? I don’t know, I just never heard for sure, people are just assuming that.
travis never had a NSX… :mwahaha
:crackup
Is the new Beetle not a Beetle? Like VW said in their commercials…“the engine placement may have change…but the heart is still in the same place”…or some shit like that. Same principal applies here to the new NSX. So they moved the engine and is now awd…but somehow that makes it not an NSX because you guys say so? Ok…call em up and let them know…I’m sure they’ll get right on the name-change.
yea but the beetle REALLY looks like the old one, they did a really good job with that… the engine placement has changed but whatever the looks so so simular
if the nsx looked the same and they changed the engine placement then ok…
but looks totally different, engine in the front, more cly etc etc
its just not related to an nsx in ANY way
im not saying they have no right to call it nsx, they can do w/e the fuck they want im sure everyone will support them even me at some point
im just a bit disapointed, i wanted to see a car that looked like… well the older nsx actually…
Ya bud, but you gotta figure the car started in 91! It was designed when the EF hatch was out, and just before the EG hatch was out. None of the new civics look like that now anyways, lol. The car ran for 15 years and was still a beast of a car in its last year of production. By the time the NSX comes out, it’s going to be close to near 20 years since the first NSX was released.
I look at it that way, the old NSX is just an out-dated design…
Yeah…the NSX should keep the same 17 year old bodystyle : The 09 Corolla looks nothing like the rwd 66’ Corolla…still called a Corolla. :nod
