THE NEW NSX

:thumright:

Looks like we’ll get a peak at something this week: http://www.autocar.co.uk/News/NewsArticle.aspx?AR=260242

Yoshikazu Kigoshi, general manager for Honda research and design centre, described the Super Sports concept as “a halo model that will be a successor to the NSX.”

Sounds good and looks fast…can’t be a honda. I thought honda’s proving grounds look more like a shopping center parking lot?

Not sure how to host the rest of these:

^Yuck to that^.

It’s just a street version of the HSV.

Yeah that mule doesn’t look MR

Looks like just another “sports” car to me. Read up on the 2013 Lancer Evolution. Turbo diesel, 4 wheel turning, 300whp, 30mpg. I am willing to bet the evo will be half the cost of the new nsx and will out perform it in every possible way. Going to a front mount engine was a terrible idea. And for them to use the “nsx” name, that’s just dumb since this concept is nothing like the original design.

Like MPD47 said, that recently posted picture isn’t of the NSX but of the HSV. NSX should still be MR.

It’ll be MR for sure.

shitty 1.2l honda vtec brap machine with 4 electric motors at the wheels.

it’ll be fast as fuck on take off, but once you hit 60 it’ll be begging for power I hate this shitty hybrid movement that all these manufacturers are headed towards.

It’s at the Detroit Auto Show… V6 hybrid, AWD and DSG are what people are saying. We’ll find out shortly.

Just covered up it looks like it will be a very sleak looking car. like very low to the ground and low center of gravity.

“This is definitely the Acura NSX and it’s definitely powered by a hybrid V6 motor with a pair of electric motors. Not offended enough? There’s also a next-gen SH-AWD system powering the car’s four wheels. Manual transmission? Nope. Seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.”

Stuiped autoshow added 30 mins to my commute this morning. I will be there next week and snap some photos.

It sure looks like Tony Starks car in silver.

“It’ll be designed in the United States, built in Ohio, and go on sale within three years.”

Damn, 1 minute too late

I like the car’s looks, don’t really like the wheels :tif:

I like it, though like I said a few pages back, the front end feels like they purchased it from Audi.

Maybe that’s why I like it, lol.

Interesting that it’ll be built in Ohio.

Overall it looks nice (it does look like an R8) minus the wheels. I’m surprised that there won’t be a manual option given Honda’s reputation for producing great manual transmissions.

Nice camaro taillights… hot other than that.

3 years 'till production, wonder what it will actually look like, hopefully they fix the tails.
