Time to move on to something more practical and reliable since the S4 is toast. So I picked this sweet ride up. It’s a 2010 Jetta TDI DSG with sunroof, premium audio and cold weather package. It’s my first brand new car :slight_smile:

Very nice dude, congrats! I dunno if I could ever buy new, but I’m sure the TDIs will have amazing resale.

Thanks buddy! Buying new was a tough decision however with 0% interest throughout the loan, full 5yr 60k warranty, and just the feeling of owning new was enough to push me over. And, as you said TDI’s hold their value like crazy!

I drove one or TDI’s on a swap drive for Langan, and they feel great on the road.

I’ve been looking at A3 TDI’s, but can’t justify buying an Audi w/o AWD lol.

I felt the same about the non-quattro Audi! Maybe i’ll trade in the Jetta when Audi comes out with a Quattro TDI.

Nice pick up. I love the tdi’s Also proves to my retarded co workers who say you can’t buy a brand new diesel car in NY.

Was that even a law ever? If so when was it lifted? If anyone knows.

I’ll most likely be at Langan with a deposit. I hate driving the Subaru around all the time, 18-20mpg sucks when it’s not even getting beat on.

Thanks man. You certainly can buy a diesel, since 2009 (VW anyway). I believe they stopped selling the TDI’s from 06-08 and since then it’s a completely new engine and they also have added a DPF (filter in exhaust) to keep it clean. Maybe that had something to do with it.

You also get an income tax credit for buying a clean diesel vehicle.
