for the DD definatley going to keep both on there … but honestly on the vette it looks dumb as hell to ahve a front plate on. i keep it in the car but this is a blue collar town and i shoulden’t see a problem hopefully (crossesv fingers) … now with the civic every single time a cop saw no front plate i got pulled over.
:word: i do the same thing with the cobra…i keep the plate in the car, but thats about it. they’re isn’t even a place to mount the plate on my car unless i drill the bumper out and that definately won’t happen. the popo has never pulled me over for the plate either (knocks on wood), but they have for the exhaust and whatever else they could find wrong 
ive been pulled numerous times for no front plate and i always tell them i have a special bracket on back order from the dealer and ive never gotten a ticket
it’s just that EVERYONE uses that excuse lol … i’m honest and tell him it looks horrible but i’ll put it on if he really want me to. howevr i’m going to try the “durr i don’t know how to take that cover off”

I have had no front plate been doing under limit and gotten pulled over and asked about it. It is more of a reason for them to eff with you
i haven’t been pulled over for the front plate (knocks on wood), but have been pulled over for speeding and rolling stops, only to get tickets for such things as expired inspection, no front plate, etc…
and now i can add loud exhaust to my list of scapegoats from points on my license…
telling the cop that my bracket was broken didnt work for me when i got pulled over… i even offered to show the cop the broken bracket because it was in my back seat
i dont see how they can justify that what if you were in a minor fender bender the day b4 and ur waitin for your schedualed body shop date and its ur only car?? dont make sense to me
Making people have a front plate makes no sense at all. I heard NY has to because we are a border state. Which I think is BS
I have been pulled over in the past for no front plate. I keep it on now
My dad actually got a No Front Plate Parking ticket at the Outlet mall in the Falls. He came back to his car and found it on the windshield. I told him to put the plate on and go back to the NFPD, when he got there, they told them that the ticket was a parking ticket and not a “equipment Failure” ticket, so returning in 24hours with the “equipment” fixed did not do anything for him. So total scam by the cops there if you ask me.

Yeah I can’t say that it really worked for me. But it might have been the reason they threw the ticket out when I showed up in court with the plate on.
You are asking for trouble. Especially in this day and age when every police cruiser has a computer, and they can easily pull up your record and see exactly how many points are on it. Why would you lie about that and take that kind of risk?

this inspiered me to take my frint plate frame off the R/T, but upon doing so, i discovered that there are 4 holes in the bumper from where the screws went, so i put it back on lol

I got pulled over for no plates/proof of insurance/no reg. sticker… Thank god I knew the cop and he was like “be carefull there are alot of troopers around today”.
Exactly… it’s the law… might as do it… or move to PA or all the other states that don’t need them.
