Actually she was there before the track like the few other people trying to get the law changed. The Airport was there before anything, but they can’t complain about it because it’s part of their federal aviation network. They want to rezone the area around it to basically force the track to close.
The people who complain live a good distance away. Well beyond the tree line of the property. But these are the same people who are more active in local government and have more power to influence local politicians into doing something about it. They have already made the government place more restrictions (as mentioned above) on the track… but that’s not good enough for them.
There are actually more people in town that support the track than those that are against it. Ask the Pizza place from last year if they didn’t mind us ordering a million pizzas, or the Canadian tire for the countless times we’ve had to run there for things.
So in short, every time you join us at a track day you help Dunnville fight their legal battles against these people. :tup:
