I still don’t think it’s a given. Coaching staff probably just believed in the defense to stop them quick and have enough time for two drives. I’d trust the defense way before the offense too.

To me, that 4th&2 was to save his job and the season. He decided to Punt and say that his defense was playing better, which they were and they did get the offense off the field, but that time was more important than the defense getting Manning off the field.

I honestly thought this season would be much worse.
We let maybe 3 good games get away, and I feel we got away with 3 pretty awful wins, give or take. All in all, not bad. Give us a solid franchise QB and we are in the playoffs. It’s as simple as that.
