i know who jestr is, so you dont have to keep putting his name there. and regardless if it uses the meth to make more power, its still 370/370…this was on Torque Freaks dyno by the way. its still stock turbo. JESTR’s email flash the car had at first, prior to john flying out from orlando for the dyno day made 362 at the wheels, same car, same dyno…pretty good for 50$.

its obviously just a number game, and ofcourse you will ride your high horse into the sunset and think nothing is better, but its Facts the stock evo turbo can and will support over 400hp of airflow at the wheels, all i said was dont count out an Evo 9 with bolt ons, if the kid can drive it will be a fast car.

400hp on WHAT dyno? this is what i dont think you get… a dyno dynamics, dynapacks and dynojets typically range 15-22% higher than a mustang dyno. this is TYPICAL… not the rule. they dont call the mustang dyno the heartbreaker for nothing. i would challenge ANY stock turbo evo on PUMP GAS to make more hp than i did on moons dyno. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.

for that reference… i can show you a stock turbo evo9MR on a mustang dyno (30 psi + meth) with a jestr tune making 234hp and 256tq… my car… the same day on the same dyno @ 17psi on the stock turbo made 188hp and 186 tq… dyno calibration FTL

i dont know what torque freaks had for a dyno, but now your comparing your numbers on pump with an upgraded turbo and a built engine, to a stock evo with stock turbo with bolt ons on pump. thats rediculous. and any DYNO can be set up for any specific load, its dependent on which software they use and the load settings. you can make a dyno read whatever you want really.

that 30psi is the magic number huh? thats not very efficient for the stock turbo to run at. maybe the Evo Green, but not the stock 9 turbo… plus stock actuator wont allow it to hold anywhere near that even with an EBC like the AEM tru boost. stock will let you hold 18-20psi…so 30psi spike maybe.

dynojets have no end user settings… what you make is what you make. yes, i AM comparing my car to theirs… hence why i said i fear no stock turbo evo. on PUMP GAS (93/94 octane) i will gladly accept any stock turbo evo race. no spray, all boost.

stock turbo evo9 with a forge external gate i think it was… “celtic82citle’s” car yet again. had a forge mbc in it as well… that acted like a “squirrel on crack” to quote justin

forge doesnt make an external wastegate… they make a billet housed diagphram for the internal gate. and the forge UNOS is a very good boost controller if its setup right, the evos stock boost lines have restrictors in them which may have caused the surging, its best to replace all the wastegate and boostcontrol lines when you get to modding those cars.

there was no surge. it was TUNED to 28-30 psi peak.

i think it would be a good idea to put this in the battlefield.

I had a boost leak somewhere and it was pissing me off so i didnt come down…also, had a exhaust leak up the ass on my turbo Y pipe V-band flange…fixed it all today (well hopefully the boost leak is fixed, I pulled all my couplers off and everything seemed fine)

I havent even opened my cutout yet lol I wonder how much of a difference it will make but it was a bitch to make the damn 3" exhaust fit from the downpipe back…talk about no clearence with the lowering springs…yikes.

Open Cut-out should make noteable difference.

yah it should…considering Its a 3" cutout in a 3" downpipe…right before it goes into my 2.5" catback.
