This thread is in response to the ever growing number of argument threads of why a certain car is better than another:
Please take your time and read through the whole thing before responding.
For a moment, please take cars or anything that have to do anything with them, out of your head for a moment. In order to understand what the point I am trying to achieve you have to look at things from the outside. I am going to discuss opinion and how it affects the way we react to a situation.
There are two types of opinions. An objective opinion, which can be scientifically proven and a subjective opinion which is defined by an individual experience. For example, a person states their opinion that water is H2O. This is an objective opinion. It can be defined by science. If a person then says that lying is bad, they are stating a subjective opinion based upon their own personal traditions or cultural traditions. It is IMPOSSIBLE to dissprove this person of their opinion. You may counter with your opinion that lying is good but it will mean nothing to the person who thinks otherwise. They believe in what they believe. This is true for ANY subjective opinion, in theory. Even if someone says that murder is good, it can only be based upon their beliefs and cultural ideology. In some cultures murder is accepted more than in others.
This goes for people trying to say what car is better. It simply CAN’T be done. There are too many variables as to why a car could be better than the other. You can come up with a million reasons why a car can be better than the other but those reasons will always be futily argued and affected by different variables of which are infiniate.
You can argue if a car is faster than the other, that can be proven. But to state which car is “better” will never be an argument that can be won. Such as to say that a certain car looks better than the other. This can’t be proven only argued.
So please if you have the intelligence to comprehend what I have just stated, don’t argue any more about which car is better. It is impossible, literally.
If there was one car that was the best, there would only be one car on the market.
Each and every car has advantages over the other, and that goes for every car, yes even a 3 Cyl Geo Metro will have an advantage or two over Ferrari F430.
it may be a perfect example. but my point is no matter how stuck on ur car make or model , import or domestic. u cant tell me at one point in time or another u thought it was the biggest pos cuz it pissed u off!!!

my audi’s been fighting me since day one, when i started to get it ready for audio. the eclipse was a snap compared to this car. with the amount of work im doing though, pretty much any car will be a bitch, but hey, im doing this for me. i like it, so its worth it to do it. you wont really see 95% of it, but you’ll hear it. “to each their own”, ya know?
