I’m just off of Baptist, near both Cool Springs and Caste Village. My commute to work is less than 1.5 miles.
This is the third house I’ve owned. Renting totally sucks and I’m excellent with tools and remodeling-Bob Villa has got nothing on me. I’ve renovated a 100 year old house in the past and can do just about anything as far as home renovations. This place (with off white siding) is about 53 years old and is build far better than anything in the last 20 years.
Plus, I can’t get evicted when the landlord decides to sell (happened to me twice) and I can paint the walls any color I want . The best part is that since I own the place the neighbors can’t go crying to a landlord when I’m wailing away in the garage with air tools or if I drag home another crappy car.
Back on topic, is the game from the San Diego on TV tonight? I’ll watch it in the garage while I’m working if it is.

I knew that. Years ago I used to be the guy at the radio station that “ran” the Pirates games. You know, playing the legal IDs and local commercials. Tonights game starts at 10:05 Pittsburgh time but radio airtime is at 9:40. The game should be over about 2am and I HAVE fallen alseep during a few games.
i miss those old 14 day west coast road trips, i’d put my radio at night and fall asleep listening to the game. Thewest coast trips now suck, the got to SD and then milwalkee. its dumb to hit the one team while you are there. they should all three and do AZ and CO on another trip out west. the rejects at MLB make terrible schedules. 5 series against divisional teams is overkill especially when the pirates play an instate rivial like philly only two series. infact we play 6 series against milwalkee.
