ok, so i talked to the guy who did my friend’s 5.0. he said if i bring him the motor, he would be able to rebuold it for a pretty reasonable price. as he said, he hasnt seen the motor yet, but he said i shouldnt need a new motor, at worst i would need a new crank, and he said its going to prob cost at least a grand. again, this is all considering he ahs not seen it. he also has a guy that will take the motor out of the truck and put it back in when its done for around $600. i would prob do this because i do not have the tools, time skills to do this myself. my only problem is i havew to find a way to get it to Batavia…and driving it there is NOT an option.
