lookin good bro, cant wait to see when its done.
Glad to see you got a garage, but it looks more like a chicken coop
haha, nice workplace
LOL…where were you before when i had it for sale for 8 mos. lol
Glad to see you finally making some progress with this. A half decent garage is obviously a neccesity when you live in a place with six months of winter. I saw your Supra at Innovative way back when you were kinda selling it. It’s seems to be pretty solid and has tons of potential. I know Mike A. and his former red car that you bought, very strong runner. If all you want to do is swap motors, clean things up a bit and have a fun running MK3T then this is a pretty easy project. Even though I’m not really on this forum much I know Supra’s very well, especially MK2s and 3s. It’s crazy to think that next year there might be a handfull of Supra’s running around WNY that belong to enthusiasts. I’d like to come by and check it out again sometime, LMK.
Later,
Joseph knows his shit better than anyone I know.
Definetly appreciate the kind words and also you are always welcome to come dirty your hands and help
First part of January I want to get the old head off the current motor in the silver car and see if something relative to that was causing the poor compression in just the single cylinder.
Depending on what we find there, will determine which motor I got ahead and put together for the 08 season. I also still have the “race” motor laying around that I might slowly start putting together for 09 or for straight sale.
Feel free to PM me anytime you want to swing by and hang out or lend a hand.
Nothing to report yet but once I get over this flu bug work will begin.
i like that, i remember seeing a REALLY good video of an MK3 supra, at least i THINK it was an MK3, ill have to find it
if you’re referring to the one with Lil Sis and Rub Dubb…with the whistle tip that goes WOOO WOOOOO!!!
…then yes, it is a great video…
sweet u read my mindddd
oh you wanna WOOO WOOOOOOOOOO???
Update:
Finally got off my ass and did something with the Silver car…the fate of the red one is still unknown. For those that wont read the entire thread, the car came with a mildly built motor and upon further review has poor compression in 1 cylinder. 8 mos after the test was conducted, GSX finally got the head off to see what the problem could be.
The head is going in to get checked out but I have another one ready to go on if this one is bad. It also appeared like the metal hg might have given way on the cylinder in question. So progress has been made.
Then we had a meal with some fine gents. Big thanks to GSX for the help.
/exhausted
Glad to see some progress.
Keep up the good work, prove the haters wrong.
let me know when you’re done dumping another $25,000 into it so i can then buy it from you for $9000 when you decide it’s not what you want.
