Here in Europe every Tom, Dick and Harry has one of those, when I first came here in July I was like WOW! Now I’m sick of seeing them.

I wish car designers would stop copying that ridiculous Audi style (wide mouth bass) front bumper. That goes for the R-35 too.

Japanese companies are not going for a futuristic look, they are aiming a the European market place. Look at the new Impreza compared to the EVO, the STi looks like a Ford Focus with a wings west body kit… and the wrx looks like a base model Focus. Even Subaru’s commercials target the Europeans… The EVO at least has kept it’s WRC heritage alive with a bigger then life, bold look, it may not look pretty but allot of people don’t like the STi’s big wing or fender bulges.
Mitsu is suppose to come out with a 5 door version of the EVO next year, My wife will be looking at that to replace her 02’ WRX, NOT the Subaru.

I don’t mind @ all if it’s targeted to the European markets,
cause they demand and compete against better quality interiors,
performance, and ride/handling.

Usually anything inspired for European tastes, usually ends up a good product.
As for the new Subaru Impreza, they’re aim is for the mainstream market now,
they want to build as a brand and reach a broader audience, like the civic and corolla’s…that’s where the most money can be made.

why does it need a hood scoop when it comes with a front mount?

Ive hated it since i seen it at the car show… i am or was a big mitsu fan. when they were making the evo 8-9s. and the 99 eclipse gsx. but yea. there soo over rated. So many people are like. AWESOME the evo X is comming to canada… Im like big f–kin deal. they lost all the heritage and sex appeal and shear tuning capibilities with this pile of scrap Aluminum. steel.

The engine is a whole new all aluminum junk heap and the trans doesent even have a available true manual shift… paddles are for donkeys. I think Im out of the whole mitsu game now…
