not sure wtf is up but i bought this coupe from a friend who got it from another friend who got it in a trade off theo. my friend drove the car for a year with no problems at all. I buy the car off him and its like the car is trying to tell me i shouldnt own it. i have owned atleast 5 s-chassis with no problems at all except this car.
the wiring is bull shit … not sure if the car has some other engine in it before but its fucked. the sterop wiring is fucked also. problems i have had (all in the last month)

so ill tell u the problem story… first problem is I loose the back brakes on the way to work and snap the right side ebrake cable.
second the alternator goes out on me after leaving work and i get stuck on 406 (45km) away from my house with a dead car (no battery light on unless under 900 rpm) ontop of that i tried to install a s14 alternator and it doesnt fit.
after installing alternator i needed to replace battery
thats when i blew the radio fuse (no biggy)
then im coming off qew in stoneycreek (fruitland rd exit 83) and a cop has stopped for some guy towing and doesnt the fuck head merge into my lane well im coming on the offramp. so i slam the brakes and i blow a line and my foot sinks right to the floor (cant pull ebrake because cable snapped) so luckly its a uphill and i can gear down.
so i get all that fixed and 4 days later i drive to george town and get back into my car and my heat wont work (blower nothing, i have no power to my climate control at all).
so im here complaining to SON saying WTF … does this car not like me or something… honstly im to the point where what else could break… i have replaced everything.
so i have owned the car for a month dropped over $200 into it ( i no that isnt big but the gas money to go get this shit is more then i have put into it and i live in welland and most parts are toronto so u can see how big of a pain this is… and its still giving me head aches
the reason im writing this thread today is once again i go to go to work and the cars dead… (random door lgiht was left on because like all s13’s it has contact problems when the doors closed so it comes off and on) its like the car is trying to fuck me over.
so ontop of everything said. if anyone has a s13 parts car for under $350 ill take it. must be complete minus body (can be rotted to fuck and beyond)
Weird. Itll give up on hating you soon. All cars have a “period” sooner or later. That was a wicked car. Best stock ka s13 ive ever had. That was a good car. Theo wil say the same
shitty man at least you have a shiny new rad for it maybe the car will like you better for putting new parts on it not used hand me down parts and stop breaking down.
lmao that reminds me … this list grows … a week after i bought it the oem rad has a crack and was loosing pressure and steaming out. so i had to replace it… so brandon THERE ALREADY IS A NEW RAD lmao. the work on this car never stops. i want to gut it and do everything again. ppl just hack shit and the 17 previous owners of this car did a great job of just that

and to sharpe … i no its a good car… thats why the body work was fixed and it hasnt been sent to the scrap yard yet. also me and theo had a talk about this car when he came to get s14 parts off me and this was before i ownd it… and he agreed the car was an amazing car. im off school this christmas break so it will be half torn into. i need to fix the heat… driver side windshield wiper… passanger side mirror… rear stabalizer links… im doing all new brake lines/ e-brake . and we will see how that goes.
on a side note … this coupe is one of a kind. the ka feels like its got more power then my other coupe and the s14 i built before it. it also goes sideways easier then any other s-chassis i have owned. im trying to keep this car out of the scrap yard
s13gg. trust me they were not OEM and a brake line is the least of my worries. also i figured it was because i replaced the back brakes. But i do have big news for the car. It started a new life… after 17 owners and being tossed around more then your local high school girl, the car is going to get done right. I just bought a full rb20 swap. have a isis ka rad sitting here. i have 4 stock GTR motor’s i can pick parts off of, i also have upgraded turbo’s lying around and a bunch of other random shit. im going to start ripping her apart next week… fix all the rust (not much left but figured the motor is already out mine as well). I also bought sub frame bushings kit and i have stock gtr sway bars sitting around with new endlinks ( any body no if these fit ).
I have had the SR we have all had a KA, this will be my first time steping over to the RB. the garage im at is building 3 gtr’s. one full tomei going for 1000hp (r32) another 500 hp r32 and a 600 hp vspec r33. all blew there motors and that is why i have all parts at my disposal.
made them sound?. they are… IMA GO PUT ON MY FLAME SUIT. no the r32’s had the oil problem and they were both pushing well over stock before it. the vspec over heated and fucked the bearings. he ran a thick oil and kept it together but after the next oil change he drove it for 100 km and it blew. we all no how bad the rb26 is if/not done properly and maintained right. most ppl are on there 2/3/4/5 motor’s before they can/still cant get it right (or just go v8)
