Ugh, hate snakes. My heart skips a beat every time I encounter one in my back yard.

Yeah, was within about 4’ of the fox kits. Mom was around when I shot those last 2 pics, but stayed hidden at a distance.
And funny you mention the flying squirrel thing. I finally saw one in the wild, not in my bedroom, yesterday morning.
Ah, nothing beats the tranquility and unparalleled animal diversity of Pembroke Meadows. I feel deeply immersed in the beauty of this place with its sunset stretched out across the Lockport country side. The beer selection ain’t half bad either.

Yeah, pretty sure there are 5 kits in this litter. I don’t mind having them around. None of our cats go outside, and my dog is never out on his own.
