thinking of selling the cobra for a year round car

:::slowly backs out of room:::

lol, great thread.

How about this, I’ll let you drive my Evo. It’s fine and RELIABLE.

I’m stock turbo at 28lbs, running strong with bolt ons. I should be making above 350 wheel, NO problems.

1.) The interior is rather plain besides the Recaros. They are very comfortable and they hug you like a glove.

2.) The steering is very tight and responsive, I’ve noticed Stis are a little sloppier.

3.) Evos are cheap to mod and tune if you want some more power (Believe me it will happen)

4.) Evos are excellent in the snow…

OK I’LL SAY IT BECAUSE I’M THE ONLY ONE ON HERE THATS PROBABLY REALLY DRIVEN MY EVO HARD…

it’s also great in sand, mud, dirt, grass, gravel, water etc LOL

5.) It lack cruise control, sometimes gay but fuck it.

PM me if any other questions

Solid info sansone. Next time we see eaxchother at a meet we can swap rides.

Sounds like a plan

Evo seats FTW!

I fucking hate/despise Mustangs so fucking much. That being said I’d sell my dick for an 03/04 Cobra.

Interesting…

what are you gonna be asking for your cobra if you do sell it?

My sti “blew up” because I was running 35 psi on a completely stock motor… with a 35R… it’s pretty obvious that was bound to happen. Maybe you can do that shit on an evo, but you don’t do it on a “year round” evo or STi.

My car was certainly not slow either… I went to the track once and made 2 passes. The first a fuel line split, the second my launch control effed up, I cut a 2.x 60 foot and still trapped like 118 or something…

The only good comparison I have was when I raced Muscle50, and that was a very close race… someone will have to enlighten me what his car runs… but I guess that’s kind of bench racing.

I will never, ever argue with you that an evo doesn’t go a lot faster for less than an STi. I doubt anyone will. However, when it comes down to it, I think for a “year round” car I’d take the STi. I don’t know any lightly modded STis that blew up, just larger turbo ones…

I wasn’t trying to get up your ass, though, Eric. It just kinda bugs me when people make such bold statements about things that they haven’t really had much seat time with.

That’s like me saying a Gallardo suckssssssssssss compared to a F360 because i know people with both, and the Gallardo blew up, when in actuality, both cars are way fucking cooler and infinitely more awesome than anything I have.

In closing, who doesn’t like 18 year old ass , though lately I’m way more into geriatric ass… mmm cottage cheese.

 18yo ass.

 18yo ass.

driving the same car all the time gets pretty boring

next time around I might do the comfy DD and raw weekend car thing

buy a truck and keep the cobra and put money into the cobra… once you get a truck take it to a country concert and get alot of girls… case closed

 geriatric ass

 16yo and 17yo and 18yo ass

Who doesn’t like 18 year olds…wtf

I see alot of sloppy 18 yr old ass walking in here at work, but that’s cause im in the ghetto. Big big upps to 18 yr old ass!! Haha

Back on topic, I would own either an Evo or STi cause their both great and fun rides. I’ve never been in a Cobra but I love the way they roar, rip.

If you end up buying an STi, first mod should be a wideband to monitor the afr and watch out for a lean issue.

Especially if it’s '07-

i find it hilarious that i edited my post 2 days earlier than your post, and you still responded.

Lol, I was wondering where that came from haha.

I actually got your reply via email, typed up my reply and posted it. Then I saw that your post was gone after I typed up that whole thing, so I just grabbed the text from my email.

I think it’s more hilarious that you typed all that, then edited it.
