probably just using meth and no intercooler at all shepard uses the same thing and he is running 55 pounds or something like that
nitrous will cool the charge, but raise cylinder pressures immensely, therefore not helping to prevent detonation. he is probably running straight alcohol for fuel. many BIG boy FI setups don’t run intercoolers
