An argument over dirty dishes ended with a man shooting and killing his wife with a rifle, state police said.
State police said James R. Petrie, 27, of Richhill Township, told troopers that he and Jessica K. Petrie, 17, argued yesterday morning in their Greene County home and he shot her once in the head with a .22 caliber rifle.
James Petrie, charged with homicide, said he believed the weapon wasn’t loaded, police said.
Jessica Petrie was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va., where she died last night. James Petrie was taken to the Greene County Jail.

haha my boy did that, good thing it wasnt a real gun , jsut a bb gun, but i was sittin shotty in my boys car and our friend was talking to him, nad fired a suppposed blank in at his head and it was loaded withthe last bb, so it went into the kids head, he thoght it was just air becuase it was like a 340fps fun so he was a little scared that there was swelling but it was actually a bb that i pushed out of his head, he was fine but it would have been bad, ill never trust a gun thats “not loaded” again, sucks for that girl though and the dude
Fayette is pretty damn bad but i dont know about any place in wv. wv isnt bad in all the places that outsiders tend to travel but when you get into the mountains and shit… its like dunbar x 10
