Immigrants (poor), Cuomo giving us back our tax money, and an ice rink are not driving Buffalo’s resurgence. @LZ1 since I know he loves this topic, lol.
Also:
My great grandmother went to Crystal beach with us and told how she went there as a child with her parents. We went there all the time with our parents and grandparents. The blacks rioted on the boat and then we had to take a car. They brought out fire-hoses to stop the riots. Then the park closed and was gone.
The downfall of Crystal Beach (not in Buffalo BTW) was due to “blacks rioting?” I really don’t know any history about it.

I love when politicians, especially newly appointed green ones say things like:

Yeah ok Mrs. Town Supervisor. I am sure that this massive corporation is going to make a decision that costs them money just because you asked nicely.
As if the company hasn’t already sat down and done an economic study on this decision. The only potential thing would be to removal all taxes, but even then that might not help enough.
I remember when the Erie county INDUSTRIAL development agency gave them money/tax breaks and I was like WTF. Tops is not industrial so why are they giving them money?

One of my pet peeves is when people don’t pronounce the ing at the end of a word properly. Katie Couric is like nails on a chalkboard to me.
Nope, those jobs are already taken by experienced Solar City workers.
