BCM is like the brain of the chassis. Basically controls things like heat, alarm, door locks, lighting, etc.
Mostly a bunch of solid state relays…
Like if you turn on the headlights, it doesn’t send power to the relay, it sends a signal to the BCM, which, if all other conditions align, closes the headlight relay.
Yeah I just did. There’s a used one for $75 2 miles from where I grew up. I may talk her into waiting till Thursday when I could go home to get it. :shrug:
Granted used electronics are sketchy. We’ll see what Slopoke can do first.
