So I received my ticket payment info in the mail and I can’t afford to send them the $255 for a few weeks. If I called the town (Pembroke) tomorrow and asked them for an extension would they allow me to have more time?

When i needed more time to bay my fines in buffalo, i went to the court house asked to speeak with the judge and got a 3 week extension.
Just make sure there is a good excuse. we just had the baby so the judge was very understanding.
School books kinda snuck up on me quick. I had the $ and forgot about books and needed them asap.
I hope thats good enough for the court to give me a few weeks.
get them a copy of receipts?
They will most likely say not a problem. You are taking the time to contact them and explain the situation instead of just doing it, which would give them the impression you are ignoring the ticket.
That’s what I figured. Normally when you have a real court date they ask you how much time you need. When they just mail you what you get they just give you a random date. I thought I’d have been out of debt by now but stuff happens I guess.

yes they will you can ask for up to a month to pay, you can even show up to court and ask. did you get pulled over in corfu by corfu cop?

Call and ask for an extension. If they refuse just don’t pay it. Hopefully by the time you get the letter saying they’re going to suspend your license if you don’t pay you’ll have the money.
