if its 10.30s and only going 9.76 on a 200 shot what is wrong? traction? blowing spark out?

That’s spraying 100 shot off the line, then spraying an additional 100 shortly thereafter. These two shots adding up to 200hp. I was worried about losing traction off the line1. I shoulda hit the whole shabang off the line.

I also believe it is in the mid to high tens on the motor(10.70s I think, but Im not exactly sure). The motor was built around the spray, so it’s not gonna run NEARLY as good without it. But still EXTREMELY respectible for a factory ford block from the 70’s, never designed to run these kind of numbers.

well i can see a high 10 motor off juice if spraying 100 shot only but a 200 shot should net you faster then that. like that pinks car when he sprayed his second shot he was going slower on it then he did on the first stage

What motor is it? 302 or 351 or big block?
Whats the whole combo?

It’s a 302 stroked to a 347, with a c-4 tranny and 3.73 gears. It has ladder bars, and a dual stage plate system.

i don’t think you guys usderstand, when you get a car into the 9s it take much more power to go even a little faster, if we wanted to go 8s i thimk we would have to add another 150hp or even 200 hp, think of it this way there are 1500hp cars going 7s but to get into the 6s or 5s it takes 2500hp or even 4000hp, i know these numbers seem crazy but to go 4s it take 8000hp…

plus, between the 9.95 pass and the 9.76 pass we added 50hp to the nos kit and also put the exhaust on the car, keep in mind this car has a factory fuel tank, functional windows, all factory glass, and a GT nose…
