Tim's GSR turbo project

My buddy in TN has a civic hatch that he is doing a turbo setup on. He asked me this question so maybe someone can help…

I got a question for you now…I got my oil feed and return lines for my turbo last week and was looking at my turbo and its made for the return to be on top and the feed on bottom.Have you ever heard of that? Will it even work like that???If I turn the turbo upside down it wont fit under the hood…lol So im thinking just use it like that and see what happens.
lol

clock the turbo. Loosen the bolts on one side at a time and rotate the housings so that the center section is orientated properly and then rotate the housings so that they work properly.

I might get points for this, but your friend is a fucking moron and has NO place working on cars.

Really?

Really???

give me his AIM so i can tell him he fucking sucks at cars.

hahahahahh

ill give you a point

He needs to install a vacuum, or some sort of reverse pump on the drain, so it sucks up.

some sort of rudimentary lathe

A screw pump perhaps.

you and him should stick to horseback riding or something

recalculating spring compression guide

A simple “that is a bad idea” would’ve worked.

OMG LOL this made my night.
