I’m looking at getting some used rims/rubber and I’ve been using an online java app to compare the overall circumference (for speedo sake). How many people (if any) don’t mind having something slightly smaller (even though it’s an 18" rim). What offset I should be considering (the rims I’m looking at are +42)? I’m looking at going from stock 240 setup to 215-35-R18
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, especially if someone’s run this similar size
i run 225/40/18 up front on my S14 with 18x8 +30 with a 10mm spacer and it’s a very mild set up…
on my S13 i have a 17 x 9.5 with 245/45/17… not sure of offset of the wheel but i have a 30mm custom adaptper on CCW Classics and it’s still on stock fenders with no issues… 275/40/17 on the rear with 17 x 10.5 and a 10mm spacer…
if you run a 215/35 you better be LOW… otherwise you’re going to have a silly wheel-gap issue and your ride is going to suck alot too with only a 35 aspect ratio on a 215… maybe if it were a 285/35/19 it would be different
