would a 225/40/18 tire fit on a 18*10 inch rim
guys in the states have done it but im pretty sure they had to leave them out in teh sun for a long ass time and then use tie straps to compress the centres and all sorts o fcrazy shit
its too extreme, my 265’s are stretched

Theres a 225/40/18 on a 10.5, they did it there selfs with like 3 or 4 people and alot of muscle. imo it looks rediculus and theres no reason for a tire to be streched that much
that is fucking stupid and dangerous
275 is the way to go
:werd:
I run 275/40’s on my 10" wheels… if you want a trapzoid then try 255 at the very minumum, but also realize that different brands and even different models within a brand name have very different tread widths for a given aspect. Also relaize that not all brands will have the features to support trapzoid mounting without a rim clamp.
That being said I’m also running a 225/45 on my front 9.5" but the FK451’s have a very wide tread width and a bead profile suited to this.
i got some 215’s on 9’s stretch looks nice
only put 225 on if they are going on the front or if you have no fender clearance at all with ought
if your gonna go a 225 go with a smaller rim it looks stupid for the rim to stick out mor than the tire. but my advise is if your going 18 x 10 you can fit a 285 and it would look sweet and you would hook nice.
